Feminist Fact Fail

In the world of “facts”, 50% plus one normally constitutes a majority.  In the world of career radical feminists however; that may just be a subjective opinion.  In today’s Hill Times, Sylvia Bashevkin claims that if the Conservative Party  want to form a majority government, “it needs to reach out to minority activists, including women”.

Thud.

Whatever one may thinks of radical feminism and Bashevkin’s call for mandatory voting quotas among other anti-democratic measures, 52% is an interesting definition of a minority.  Perhaps Bashevkin in her post-modern wisdom was referring to those who share her political views when discussing what constitutes a minority.  It may be frustrating for those locked up in the University of Toronto’s ivory towers that a majority of women do not share their definition of a minority, but then again, that probably explains whyBashevkin et all are still a minority of public opinion.

What she really means by reach out is money. She really doesn’t want to get close to a conservative at all, she just wants someone to continue to pay for her activist lifestyle where she is free to spew out all sorts of crap without fear of ever having to actually implement any of it… because she really doesn’t know how to make her ideas work when she has to pay for them.
